Growing up on the edge of St Andrews, golf has been part of my life from an early age. The excitement of The Open coming to town, with the chance to see some of the world’s best golfers up close, sparked a love for the game that’s stayed with me ever since.

Now living in Ireland, I’m still surrounded by truly world-class courses that draw golfers from around the world.

After years of enjoying the game and having the privilege of playing with golfers from all walks of life, it felt like a natural step to launch Gorse & Thistle - to share the magic of golf in this part of the world with you.
