With nearly two decades as a PGA Professional, Dan Swiniarski has spent his career at the heart of some of the Southeast’s most distinctive golf communities.
From The Emerald Golf Club in New Bern, North Carolina, a Rees Jones design that hosted PGA Tour Qualifying School, to Taberna, Cypress Landing and Mill Creek, Dan has helped shape golf experiences built around more than just the course. For him, great golf has always been about community, tradition and a genuine sense of place.
Today, Dan brings that experience to Gorse & Thistle as our North American Partner, working closely with private clubs, city clubs and yacht clubs across North America to create exceptional golf experiences in Ireland and Scotland.
His passion lies in introducing golfers to the places where the game began, from the historic links of Ireland to the legendary courses of Scotland, while delivering the thoughtful service, local knowledge and attention to detail that define the Gorse & Thistle experience.
Beyond golf, Dan is President & COO of Wright Creative Branding & Labels and serves on the advisory board of Fairways For Warriors, supporting combat wounded veterans through the game of golf.
With connections spanning Colorado and the Carolinas, Dan brings a wealth of experience, relationships and genuine enthusiasm to the Gorse & Thistle team. Naturally, he believes the best rounds are the ones that end with a great story.
